By Daud Zulfacar — co-founder of license.rocks: winner of the Deep Tech Award Berlin 2020 (Blockchain) and a Top-10 selection at the Deutscher Gründerpreis 2020. Years in B2B startups close to deep tech, President of BerChain.

AI reaches the team faster than the rules for it.

Tools, copilots and external models are already in use. What's often missing is the evidence: which tools run, what data they process, whether customer material is safe, and who may use the outputs commercially.

  • Can you explain to customers, investors or procurement how your team uses AI?
  • Which AI tools are actually in use — and who introduced them?
  • Do customer data, internal documents or licensed datasets flow into models or prompts?
  • Are provider terms, internal policies and output rights documented?

Clarity in three steps

  1. Start the check. Make tools, teams and workflows visible — the beta check takes about 3 minutes and is free.
  2. Assess the risks. Where does which data flow, where do rights and output questions arise. In the paid check with human review, not just automated.
  3. Get clear rules. A readable overview and policy you can use internally and show externally.

What the AI check looks at

A practical check for teams using AI tools, customer data, internal documents, generated content, AI-generated code, datasets, prompts or external model providers. The free beta check gives a first orientation; the paid check delivers the full map with human review.

Tool inventory

Which AI tools, copilots and providers are in use across the team?

Data source check

What data is uploaded, processed or embedded in prompts?

Customer material review

Is use of client and partner material in AI workflows appropriately governed?

Output rights assessment

Who may own, use or commercially share AI-generated outputs?

AI-generated code risk check

Licensing, security and usage risks from AI-assisted development.

Internal AI usage policy

Clear rules for permitted tools, data and workflows.

Risk map and recommendations

Prioritized risks and concrete next steps for operations and leadership.

Machine-readable policy layer (optional)

Rights and usage metadata where it helps future automation.

Services

AI is already part of the team. Rules for data, rights and outputs often aren't. We help teams pragmatically assess AI use, data risks, usage rights and next steps.

AI Usage & Rights Check

In a few days, make visible which AI tools are in use, which data and content are involved, where rights and output questions arise, and which rules help immediately.

Why PANDR

PANDR is led by Daud Zulfacar in Berlin. The thread for years: licensing and intellectual property — translated into the AI era.

Before PANDR I co-founded license.rocks, a platform for digital licensing — winner of the Deep Tech Award Berlin 2020 in the Blockchain category and a Top-10 selection at the Deutscher Gründerpreis 2020. For years it dealt with the same core question that hits every AI team today: who may do what with which content, which data, which code — and can you prove it?

AI hasn't removed that question, it has sharpened it. Tools enter the team, often faster than the rules for them. That's where PANDR comes in — with clarity, before time and budget go in the wrong direction. We use technology where it solves a real problem, not because it happens to be the topic of the day.

In parallel I'm building the open ProofMeta protocol for machine-readable licensing and rights metadata. PANDR applies the same logic pragmatically today — through checks, advisory and policy work. As President of BerChain, I'm deeply rooted in Berlin's tech ecosystem.

Work & reference

Selected reference work — shows methodology and market understanding, not sold as a PANDR product.

Reference

Minerva

  • Trust Operator Model
  • B2B GTM Germany
  • Regulatory AI
  • Enterprise sales

Reference project at the intersection of trust operator model, B2B go-to-market in Germany and regulatory AI in enterprise context — product, GTM and regulatory work underpinning PANDR's B2B readiness approach.

In validation

Experiments and pilots — deliberately not a finished product yet. We test where AI makes sense and where humans must stay in the loop.

Experiment

Hauszertifikat

  • PDF extraction
  • Scanned documents
  • Human-in-the-loop
  • Building physics

Validation pilot: heuristically extract structured data from PDFs — including scans — and have domain experts (building physics) validate. Goal: learn which steps AI can take and which must remain human.

Built together with Renan Lelièvre — engineer & developer (modeling & simulation) with a master’s in applied mathematics.

Who it is for

Frequently asked

What exactly do I get from PANDR?

A clear view of which AI your team uses, what data is involved and who may use the outputs — plus rules and an overview you can use internally and show to customers, investors or procurement. The entry point is the free beta check.

Is this legal advice or an AI Act audit?

No. PANDR provides orientation and clear rules from a product, data and business perspective. For binding legal questions we work with your legal team or counsel — we make usage visible so they can decide in the first place.

Doesn't our legal or security team already do this?

We don't replace them, we give them the basis. Legal and security can only govern what's visible and documented. That view of actual AI usage across the team is exactly what PANDR produces.

What does the check cost?

The beta check is free. Scope and price of the paid AI Usage & Rights Check are set after a short call — matched to your team size and the depth you need.

How long does it take?

The free beta check takes about 3 minutes. The paid check with human review delivers results within a few days.

What happens to our data?

Processing in the beta check on check.pandr.de is described in our privacy policy. Customer material and sensitive content belong in the paid check with human review, not in the open beta.

We're still very early — is it worth it?

Especially then. The earlier you know what's running in the team, the cheaper the corrections. Start free and without commitment with the beta check.

Make your AI usage explainable before it becomes a risk.
